Halloween Fantasy: Here is a Pink Halloween Salute from Altiora Plastic Surgery & Medspa. Orlando Cosmetic Surgery pauses the pursuit of their typical blogging topics and takes this time to honor the Pink Cause of October. We could not end this month without special recognition for all our breast cancer patients who have consulted with Dr. Orlando Cicilioni.
Halloween Fantasy Number One: Cured and Confident
Recently, Ms. Laura has completed her reconstructive surgery after her bout with breast cancer. Her survival story would be difficult at any time. However, during the Coronavirus Pandemic with lock-downs and restrictions, it has been especially challenging.
Today, we see her as she beams with self-confidence over her fine feminine physique and we cannot help but celebrate with her. She has brought us a little skin challenge for Halloween. Later, in this article, we will tell you about that. But first, we must salute her and all the other breast cancer survivors of 2020, with a few special facts and statistics.
Halloween Fantasy Two: Pink Ribbons and the Golden Leaves of Fall
Most of us recognize the pink ribbons in honor of this month’s Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign, But this blog is a salute to all the feelings behind the facts regarding breast cancer.
When we look at the Breast Cancer statistics below in a thought-provoking manner, we realize that Pink stands for more than just a pretty, feminine colored ribbon we wear on our collars and lapels.
- Pink Means Compassion. Do you know that 200,000 U.S. women will be diagnosed with some form of Breast Cancer before the year ends? Breast Cancer Awareness campaigns exist because this number is too high.
- Memories are Symbolized by Pink. Who are the women whose lives have been sacrificed to this disease? They are our mothers, daughters, wives, sisters, and best friends.
- Strength Come in the Color Pink. Do you realize that we have 2.6 million survivors of Breast Cancer living full lives today? For more facts and statistics, check out this reliable online source.
- Pink Means Hope. We salute the research, donations, fundraisers, legislation, and advocacy that made this emotional commitment to hope possible.
Our Official 2020 Pink Salute: No Halloween In this Comment:
Thus, Altiora Plastic Surgery and Medi-Spa salute all Breast Cancer patients, caregivers, and supporters of the pink fight. We Care. And we know you care. However, 2020 with its masking and social distancing has meant you could not celebrate your concern as publicly. We know there could not be as many parties and events as in previous Pink Years.
Ms. Laura’s Halloween Enchantress Fantasy
At this point, we resume Ms. Laura’s special story. Like most of us, she has a small bubble of friends and family who have helped her through a rough time of therapy, surgery, and reconstruction. She and her bubble are having a small Halloween themed get-together. She has an adorable enchantress costume for the occasion.
Her two sisters have not seen her since the healing of her breast reconstruction. She had noticed the tough summer days and stress had brought some extra dryness and stress-lines to her facial skin. Thus, she came to us for a suggestion to help her glow and look extra special for the occasion, even if it was only for her small bubble.
Halloween Fantasy Three: Treats for Your Skin, Not Tricks–OxyLight Facial for Your Boo-tiful Halloween Glamour
We did not have to think twice. Certainly, we at Altiora Plastic Surgery and Medspa knew the exact treatment that would be her pick-me-up and confidence booster for her special holiday. We recommended she enjoy our OxyLight Facial. This is the luxurious, oxygen-rich, nutrient-packed treatment. We call it the Red Carpet Facial. You see, it combines LED light therapy with oxygen and microdermabrasion. Then we add the gentle touch of the licensed aesthetician at Altiora Medi-Spa.
Paired with our Rejuvenating Peel, we knew it would provide Ms. Laura with the perfect pampering treatment for soothing the texture, and rejuvenation of the firmness, texture, and contour of her face.
After this treatment, some of our clients have seen a wonderful glow and polish on the surface of their skin. So much so, they won’t cover the natural radiance with make-up foundation or concealer for days.
Ms. Laura was so delighted with the immediate result that she bought 2 gift certificates for the Oxy-light Red Carpet Facial. She wanted her two sisters to enjoy its remarkable skin rejuvenation. We know they will be delighted with this first-class skin treatment, as the Thanksgiving Season slides us from golden fall into silvery winter days.
