Thermi Therapy

Thermismooth is a controlled non-invasive tissue heating technique utilizing radiofrequency energy applied through an external handpiece.

The treatment is very gentle and is used to smooth and tighten the skin of the face or  body.   When used on the body, you may expect to see a temporary reduction of cellulite.  It is usually performed in a series of 6 applications by our aesthetician spaced over periods  of 6-8 weeks apart.

Thermitight is a minimally invasive treatment for tightening loose skin.

It is applicable in many areas, including face, neck, chest, breast, abdomen, back, arms, thighs, knees, ankles, and portions of the external female genitalia.

How Thermitight Works:

It  is a procedure performed by our physician wherein a tiny probe is used to gently deliver thermal energy to the targeted tissue (skin).  The tip of the probe provides constant feedback of the actual temperature during the treatment and an infrared camera is used to monitor the skin temperature to ensure that the treatment is both safe and effective.  After the procedure, a gentle wrap is often applied to the affected area and the patient may resume normal activites the next day.

What to Expect:

  • virtually painless
  • little to no downtime
  • quick and easy procedure
  • usually only one treatment application is required per area

Thermiva is a procedure wherein radiofrequency energy is used to gently heat tissues.

In this application it may be used on the vaginal anatomy and external female genitalia.  The purpose of the treatment is to firm and tighten the vaginal canal.   Many people have experienced improved vaginal moisture/lubrication, reduced issues with stress incontinence, and improved orgasmia without having to take hormonal replacement.  Many people have even noted an improved cosmetic appearance to the external genitalia by tightening the looseness associated with aging, weight loss, and childbirth.

What to Expect:

  • non-surgical
  • minimal to no discomfort (no anesthesia is required)
  • 3 in office applications with 1-2 maintenance applications per year
