At Orlando Cosmetic Surgery, find answers to breast issues. Even as Ann picks out a light jacket for a January evening, she glimpses a soft chiffon dress that waits in her closet for Spring.

She wishes the little dress would fit snugly over the firm swell of her breasts as similar dresses had a just few years ago.

Age, weight-loss and two pregnancies have taken their toll on Ann’s most feminine attribute: her bustline.

She recalled that recently, during a business presentation, she felt saggy, even under her crisp white blouse.

Ann had always been happy with the size of her breasts, even a little proud of them. Now she was beginning to feel a lack of confidence in her appearance, both in her professional and personal life.

Ann is not alone. Many women feel the sagging of age in their bosom, and in fact this condition has a name, “mammary ptosis.”

Ann is thinking seriously about the breast enhancement of a breast lift.

At Orlando Cosmetic Surgery, a breast lift will remove excess skin. It will also re-contour the breast, and simultaneously reposition the nipple.

Sometimes the areola becomes enlarged over time, and breast lift procedure can correct this as well. With a breast lift, Ann will return a youthful shape to her breasts. Likewise, she will undoubtedly feel her self-confidence increase, especially under the soft, body conscious clothes of the coming Spring.Woman admires new dress after breast lift surgery at Orlando Cosmetic Surgery.

Orlando Cosmetic Surgery has designed a special information page about this surgical procedure which is also known as mastopexy. Simply click and read the details of this restorative, popular procedure.

When she consults with her surgeon, Ann might decide that she has lost some volume, and elect to have more work done in terms of breast augmentation.

However, for Ann or any woman with similar feelings, the first step is to talk to a surgeon.

Enhancing the feminine breast profile has been Dr. Cicilioni’s lifework and his chosen specialty at Orlando Cosmetic Surgery.

He has stated, “Since I am board certified, both in plastic and reconstructive surgery as well as general surgery, I have a thorough knowledge and understanding of all aspects of the breast.”

He added, “I routinely perform all types of cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the breast.” With such work, Dr. Cicilioni combines the science of surgical technique and

experience with the aesthetic qualities of an artist.

When you have your consultation, you and the doctor will discuss the type, shape and size of your breasts and he will help you decide what is right for you.

The Facts Behind The “Figures”

New statistics from the American Society of Plastic Surgeons show breast lifts have grown 70 per cent since 2000.

Likewise, breast augmentation remains the most popular plastic surgery procedure for women. In 2013, there were 290,224 breast augmentation surgeries performed by ASPS member surgeons. That represents a growth of 37% since 2000, just under half the rate of breast lifts.

(Of course, like all the ladies in our  blog stories, “Ann” is a fictional character, entirely invented to suggest the problems brought to our attention by many cosmetic surgery patients. We hope that stories like hers help humanize the technical nature of many of our blog topics.)
